About TREMONIS
TREMONIS GmbH Brauerei-Nebenerzeugnisse, based in Dortmund, processes and markets by-products from food production, in particular brewer's spent grain and brewer's yeast, into animal feed for livestock. The company trades around 180,000 tonnes of brewer's spent grain annually, processes 35,000 m³ of liquid brewer's yeast, produces about 2,100 tonnes of dried brewer's yeast and manufactures around 1 million litres of industrial alcohol. At the mixing plant, single and compound feeds as well as individual feed mixtures tailored to customer requirements are produced on the basis of brewer's yeast, brewer's spent grain, corn feed meal, carrot pomace, apple pomace, pea fibre and alfalfa green meal. In addition to its own products such as TREMONIS Opti N and Opti Biome, the company offers the BiertreberPlus silage service at delivery as well as consulting and stock analysis. The products are delivered to or collected from all 16 federal states nationwide, usually in bulk by tipper truck. Customers are farmers, feed manufacturers and wholesalers from dairy cattle, pig, poultry and horse farming.
