Trentmann GmbH & Co. KG is an owner-managed family business from Bad Iburg in the Osnabrück region with core competencies in toolmaking, plastic injection molding and assembly. The company designs and manufactures injection molds 100% in its own toolmaking operations at the Bad Iburg and Shenzhen (China) sites and produces technical plastic parts on machines with clamping forces of 50 to 460 tonnes – from standard to high-performance plastics, including overmolding of metal insert parts. The depth of production ranges from mold design through injection molding (also fully automated and under cleanroom conditions) to the assembly of ready-to-install assemblies with ultrasonic welding, printing and bonding. At the Shenzhen site, SMT assembly of printed circuit boards is also carried out with automated AOI inspection. Customers come from the automotive, white goods, food, bicycle, electronics, aerospace, medical, furniture and consumer sectors. With around 150 employees, more than 2,500 molds produced and over 48 million parts per year on around 9,750 m² of production space, Trentmann supplies customers in Germany, Europe and worldwide.

Quality assurance includes tactile and optical measurement, 3D scanning, color measurement, statistical process control (SPC) as well as material testing and release of incoming raw materials.
