About TREVENTUS

TREVENTUS Mechatronics GmbH is a company founded in 2006 as a spin-off of the Vienna University of Technology, headquartered in Vienna. The company develops and produces digitization solutions for bound documents, ranging from the hardware highlight ScanRobot® 2.0 MDS, an internationally patented automatic book scanner with a speed of up to 2,500 pages per hour and prism scan technology, to manual and special scanners, as well as software products such as the ScanGate® LWF image processing solution, the ScanFlow® Professional workflow solution, and the AI-powered digital archive Nainuwa® X2. The portfolio is complemented by AI-OCR solutions for more than 190 languages including Fraktur and handwriting, as well as a digitization service for orders from 20 bound documents. Each ScanRobot® goes through a systematic manufacturing process in the Vienna production facility with repeatedly performed tests according to internal quality standards and is packed in wooden crates for worldwide shipping. Customers come from libraries, archives, universities, foundations and auction houses; the company counts more than 60 countries among its sales markets.
