About Trigona
Trigona GmbH is an independent, mid-sized development partner for chemical synthesis, based in the Kalle-Albert Industrial Park in Wiesbaden. The company was founded in 2000 by Dr. Günter Krummel and Dr. Peter Schade and operates as a specialist for kg-scale syntheses, filling the gap between laboratory research on the gram scale and tonne-scale production. The portfolio covers synthesis development and route scouting, scale-up and pilot production, toll and contract manufacturing, as well as analytics and quality assurance for organic and inorganic chemistry, polymer chemistry and specialty chemistry. Trigona has three laboratories, three explosion-proof reactor systems and an analytical laboratory; reactions are possible from the milligram to multi-kilogram scale in the temperature range -100 °C to +200 °C. A dedicated production plant manufactures macromonomers on a multi-tonne scale under BImSchG (Federal Immission Control Act) permitting and GMP-compliant conditions. The quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015.
