About TRITON Applied Reef Bioscience
TRITON Applied Reef Bioscience is a German-Australian, family-owned reef science company founded in 2008 in Düsseldorf. It was the first company to make ICP-OES water analysis accessible to hobbyist reef aquarists: a test covers 45 parameters with detection in the ppb range, complemented by personal recommendations based on a database of over 500,000 analysed samples. In addition to ICP-OES analytics, TRITON offers the N-DOC test for organic carbon (TIC, TOC, TNb) as well as personalised trace element dosing systems such as MYTE (15 elements) and Core7 Flex Base Elements. The TRITON Method combines analysis, targeted dosing and biological filtration into one overall system. The company operates five laboratories on four continents and maintains its own research presence with a laboratory and research vessel on the Great Barrier Reef; customers and partners include James Cook University, Cairns Marine, Cairns Aquarium, Reef Restoration Foundation and the Great Barrier Reef Foundation.

Analysis methods and products
ICP-OES water analysis
Inductively coupled plasma with optical emission spectrometry measures 45 parameters per water sample down to the ppb range.
N-DOC organic carbon test
Measures TIC, TOC and TNb and is regarded as the first organic carbon test for reef keeping.
MYTE trace element dosing
Subscription-based, monthly adjusted blend of 15 trace elements based on the latest ICP results.
Core7 Flex Base Elements
Dosing system for base elements, matched to the results of the ICP analysis.
