About Tröster Maschinenbau

Tröster Maschinenbau GmbH in Langgöns-Oberkleen near Gießen designs and manufactures drive technology components for industrial applications. The product range includes block bearings (plummer blocks), flange double bearings and pedestal bearing units – based on a modular system and manufactured exactly to customer specifications – as well as impeller hubs (hub cores, rotating hubs, multi-part welded constructions), shafts and aluminium cooling discs made of Al 235 (G Al Si 5 Mg), produced by permanent mould casting. Machining is carried out in-house on modern turn-mill centres and machine tools; hubs are manufactured up to Ø 650 mm. Production covers one-off parts through small series, prototypes and delivery on call; customer-specific special solutions with a variety of surface coatings complement the offering. In-house calculation software for bearing dimensioning, 3D-CAD design and ready-to-install assembly (including the shaft) are standard. The main customers are manufacturers of industrial fans as well as other sectors of mechanical and plant engineering.
