About Tromco Swiss AG
Tromco Swiss AG is a Swiss manufacturer of drum graters/vegetable graters, grating drums, grater attachments and electric disc graters based in Etziken in the canton of Solothurn. The company was founded in 2005 after Zyliss closed its production facility in Lyss, and took over the production of the grating devices in their original design and function. Since its founding, Tromco has specialised in the manufacture of grating drums, grater attachments and electric disc graters and is a leading supplier of grater attachments for internationally renowned food processor brands such as KitchenAid, Kenwood, AEG/Electrolux, Bosch, Messerschmidt/Jupiter and Zyliss. In addition to production, the company develops high-quality kitchen helpers from idea to production in Switzerland; the manufacturing steps of plastic injection moulding, punching, toolmaking and assembly are handled through an international network of partner companies, with a significant share of the value creation taking place in Switzerland. Since 2021/2022, the products have been offered directly to the trade under the company's own Tromco brand. All products are Swiss Made.
