About TRS-STAR
TRS-STAR GmbH was founded in 2006 as a subsidiary of the MSC Group and is a European distributor of electronic components and systems. The portfolio includes IPC systems, IPC boards, displays, memory and storage, FPGAs, embedded systems, power components, LED/lighting, batteries as well as Pemco and connectivity products. In addition to distribution, the company offers value-added services such as the assembly of customized industrial PCs and FPGA design services. Since 2008, TRS-STAR has maintained its own lighting division; since 2017, LED outdoor luminaires for municipal and industrial applications have been developed at the Frankenthal site and produced as handcrafted manufacturing. The luminaires are based, among other things, on die-cast aluminium and comply with DIN EN 13201 for standard-compliant street lighting. The group includes Luxwerk manufaktur für lichttechnik GmbH (handcrafted production of series and special luminaires), Elcom spol. (Slovakia) and RNT Rausch GmbH.
