Trutmann + Co. Zementwarenfabrik is an independent Swiss family business based in Regensdorf ZH that manufactures concrete products for outdoor spaces. In its own concrete manufactory in Regensdorf, garden slabs and floor coverings, steps, copings, garden edgings, lawn edging slabs, palisades, planters and fountain troughs, bollards, slope stabilisation elements as well as special elements for public squares are produced. The manufacturing process combines craft finishing with modern mechanical methods; a proprietary vacuum method and carefully balanced concrete formulations produce particularly dense, frost-resistant and mechanically robust products. In addition to concrete, the range also includes natural stone and porcelain stoneware slabs. Custom-made products are available to measure, for example slabs up to 200 × 100 × 8 cm and steps up to 250 × 50 × 22 cm. Customers are architecture firms, landscape architects, garden and landscape contractors, municipalities and private building owners. At the Regensdorf site, sales, consulting, a sample garden of over 360 m² with real installation situations and an outdoor exhibition are available; sample slab stands are located throughout German-speaking Switzerland at building materials dealers and horticultural businesses.
