About TSE Trailer System Engineering
TSE Trailer System Engineering has been developing, testing and producing components and kits for commercial vehicle bodybuilding since 1995 at its sites in Ratshausen and Dotternhausen in Baden-Württemberg. The company manufactures modular, Code-XL-certified (EN 12642) body systems for curtainsiders as well as specialized kits for construction-material and beverage transport, consisting of front wall, rear portal, side wall, tarpaulin top and subframe. The materials are aluminium with in-house aluminium fabrication including scrap and chip recycling, as well as hot-dip galvanized, bolted steel for subframes and steel corner posts; additionally GRP solid roofs and tarpaulins for tarpaulin tops. Powder coating is carried out at the factory across the entire RAL color spectrum prior to assembly. TSE operates in one-off production, project business and series production and supplies customers worldwide; complete bodies are delivered in full within three weeks, with no partial deliveries. For beverage transport, a kit is available with GRP solid roof, hot-dip galvanized steel corner posts and aluminium snap-lock side walls with lightweight panels (interior length up to 8,200 mm, side loading height up to 2,400 mm); the construction-material kit is certified for payloads up to 15 t. An in-house dimension configurator supports customers in designing, ordering and assembling the kits.

The bodies are certified for body structural strength according to Code XL (EN 12642); in addition, there are certifications according to DE 9.5 (Daimler), VDI 2700 (beverages) as well as for tire loads and octabins. An in-house configuration program (TSE Certificator) verifies the certifiability of every configuration.
