Tsurumi is a manufacturer of submersible pumps founded in 1924 in Osaka, Japan, for use under demanding conditions on construction sites, in tunnelling and mining as well as in wastewater treatment. Tsurumi Europe GmbH, headquartered in Düsseldorf, was founded in 1983 and acts as the head office for the European market. For Europe, the company maintains an exclusive stock of more than 20,000 pumps, including motor sections up to 110 kW. The product range includes drainage, sand and sludge, wastewater and aeration pumps; features include an in-house developed oil lifter, double internal mechanical seals and special cables. Sales in Europe are handled through a comprehensive distributor network as well as own sales companies in France, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
