Türmerleim GmbH, headquartered in Ludwigshafen/Rhein, has been developing and producing industrial high-performance adhesives since 1889 for a wide range of industrial applications. The portfolio includes labelling adhesives, casein adhesives, dispersion adhesives, starch-based adhesives, tipping adhesives, adhesives for bag and pouch sealing as well as MUF wood adhesives based on the Kauramin adhesive and hardener combination. The products are used, among other things, in the wood processing industry, the beverage industry, the paper and packaging industry and the cigarette industry – for example in the labelling of glass bottles, the sealing of transparent bags or the manufacture of glulam beams and roof structures. In addition to production, the company offers consulting and the development of customised adhesive solutions. The family-owned company employs 51–200 people in Ludwigshafen and serves its customers through the Swiss sister company Türmerleim AG, founded in 1992 and based in Binningen. The repeatedly awarded EcoVadis Silver Medal attests to its commitment in the areas of sustainability and business ethics.
