High-performance adhesives since 1889

Türmerleim GmbH is a fourth-generation family business founded in 1889 by Ferdinand Pfeiffer in Ludwigshafen that develops and produces industrial high-performance adhesives. The product portfolio includes natural adhesives based on starch, dextrin and casein as well as synthetic polyvinyl acetate-based dispersions, hot-melt adhesives and glue resins. Since 1946 the company has been a sales partner of BASF SE for Kaurit® glue resins in surface bonding; since 1982 it has also served the field of load-bearing wood bonding with Kauramin® melamine-based glue resins. Around 130 employees work at two production sites in the Rhine-Neckar region (Ludwigshafen and Schifferstadt) as well as at Türmerleim AG in Binningen near Basel, which serves the Swiss and French markets. International sales partners complement the company's worldwide activities. Customer industries include labeling, wood processing, the paper and packaging industry, beverages as well as the tobacco and cigarette industry. Application-oriented research and development and technical customer service support the adhesives right up to their use in customers' machines.
