TÜV NORD InfraChem GmbH & Co. KG, based in the Chemiepark Marl, is a joint venture of TÜV NORD Systems GmbH & Co. KG and Evonik Operations GmbH and part of the TÜV NORD GROUP. The company tests and inspects chemical plants on the basis of national and international standards and advises operators of chemical plants on all matters of technical safety. The consulting covers the entire life cycle of the plants – from safety concepts and risk analyses to testing of pressure systems, explosion protection and functional safety through to cybersecurity and machinery safety. The employees support projects in Germany and abroad, for example the construction of production facilities according to German safety standards. As an affiliated company, it maintains close ties with TÜV NORD Systems and the associated Notified/Approved Supervisory Body.
