About TUNAP
The TUNAP GROUP is an internationally operating manufacturer of aerosols, lubricants and cleaners for industrial and technical applications. Founded in 1972 in Munich and now headquartered in Wolfratshausen, the company develops and produces chemical agents and liquids, specialty lubricants, cleaners and technical aerosols for its own brands, third-party brands and private labels. Production takes place at three plants: chemical agents, liquids, automotive products and OEM aerosols are produced in Wolfratshausen; in Lichtenau, aerosols are filled on six filling machines – including 2-chamber aerosols – in cans up to 300 mm height; and the Märstetten plant produces aerosols and liquids for the international market at 50 to 60 cans per minute in shift operation. Propane-butane mixtures, dimethyl ether, nitrogen, CO₂ and air are used as propellants. With a comprehensive direct sales network of 14 subsidiaries and around 30 distributors, TUNAP serves more than 30,000 customers worldwide, including automotive, industry, retail as well as cosmetics and sports.
