About turgibega AG
turgibega AG is an ISO-certified Swiss foundry with origins dating back to 1885 and production sites in Kestenholz (SO) and Moutier (BE). The company produces aluminium and bronze castings using sand casting and permanent mould casting processes, as well as 3D relief casting for signs such as road signs, house numbers and grave inscriptions. In technical casting, the entire value chain is covered in-house: from CAD design through pattern and mould making to casting, including CNC post-machining, heat treatment, surface treatment and painting. For quality assurance, turgibega has an in-house metallurgical laboratory with an X-ray system, spectral analysis and hardness testing. The products are 100 % SwissMade and serve industries such as transport (sign/relief casting), water & energy, and home & garden. At the Moutier site, pressure-resistant and gas-tight cast parts may be manufactured (STVI certificate of the boiler inspection authority).

Quality & Certification
turgibega AG is ISO-certified and, if required, includes a works certificate EN 10204:2015-1 with every delivery. The in-house laboratory performs X-ray testing (gas inclusions, cracks, shrinkage cavities), hardness measurements according to Brinell/Vickers, spectral analysis, micro- and macrography as well as mechanical tests; a measuring table with extensive measuring equipment serves for dimensionally accurate inspection.
