About UCY Technologies
UCY Technologies develops and manufactures optical sorting systems for plastic recycling, PET recycling and waste management. The portfolio includes belt sorters (A-series) for PET bottles and bulk plastics, flake sorters (F-series) for PET flakes with dual-4K area cameras and multispectral illumination, inline quality inspection systems (Q-series) for existing conveyor belts, and the UCY Cockpit cloud fleet management platform. The systems combine high-resolution sensor technology with real-time AI classification using deep learning models, which can also detect deformed or overlapping objects based on complete object geometry and spectral signatures. The modular hardware and software architecture enables integration into new plants and existing recycling lines. According to the company, the systems have been in continuous operation since 2017 in its own and STF recycling plants as well as at international customers. In addition to sales, the company offers consulting, engineering, commissioning, training, remote diagnostics and sorting as a service (Sorting as a Service).
