About UFO Licht

UFO Licht GmbH is the German subsidiary of Universal Fibre Optics Ltd., a UK-based manufacturer of optical fibre and LED lighting systems. Production takes place at the plant in Coldstream on the Scottish border; from there, products are distributed worldwide, complemented by a sales office in Regensburg and an office in Sarasota (USA). The company is the only UK-based manufacturer that extrudes its own glass fibres and PMMA fibres, and manufactures all products – projectors, fittings, fibre harnesses, chandeliers and customised systems – in-house. The service portfolio includes design and prototyping with CAD engineering, specification, manufacturing, on-site installation as well as maintenance and repair of projectors. Applications can be found in hotels, bars, restaurants and casinos, in commercial spaces, museums and galleries, in pools and wet areas, in outdoor lighting as well as in amusement parks. Reference customers include, among others, the Hilton hotel chain, Disney and the Astana Opera.
