About the UHRIG Group
The UHRIG Group is a company founded around 60 years ago, originally a civil engineering firm specializing in heavy canal construction and today operating as a corporate group with several subsidiaries. Its business areas include the construction of large urban sewage canals, trenchless canal rehabilitation using the patented Quick-Lock method, digital and intelligent control of sewer networks, and the development of excavator attachment compactors for construction sites. Another pillar is energy generation from wastewater: with the Therm-Liner system, wastewater energy can be used for climate-friendly heating and cooling of buildings. In addition to project execution, the group carries out research and development tasks and holds numerous patents. The offering is complemented by electrical engineering and control cabinet construction as well as welding and metalworking services, which are performed for the group's own systems and plants. Customers include municipalities, wastewater drainage operators and construction companies in Germany and abroad; the Quick-Lock method is now in use worldwide.
