Master watchmaker Tony Siegmund operates a specialist workshop for historical clocks in Großbreitenbach, in the district of Herschdorf in Thuringia. The offering encompasses the repair and overhaul of antique high-quality large clocks as well as verge clocks, pocket watches and pendulum clocks. The owner has experience in overhauling a wide variety of calibres, including movements with repetition mechanisms, chronographs of different designs and diverse escapement forms such as the deadbeat escapement, ruby cylinder and chronometer escapement with impulse pallet. As part of the master craftsman course, a seconds pendulum clock with a modified, free Strasser escapement and Invar compensation pendulum was also designed and built. Overhauled antique clocks are sold via the company's own shop and EBAY, usually with a one-year guarantee. The workshop is currently not accepting repairs.
