ULF-Tec GmbH is a family-owned packaging technology company founded in 2001 in Engelskirchen. The company plans and manufactures custom packaging machines, filling lines and palletizing systems for dry to powdery products such as sugar, flour, cereals, pasta, coffee pads, pet food, construction powders or cat litter – as standard solutions or customer-specific special designs based on a modular principle. All manufacturing takes place at the company's own plant in Engelskirchen, including sheet metal working and welding; on customer request, in-house dosing trials are carried out. A focus is machines for plastic-free, recyclable paper packaging with or without a transparent paper window. The systems are equipped with Siemens controls, SEW motors and Festo pneumatics and are built to be modularly expandable. In addition, ULF-Tec offers maintenance, repair, modification, overhaul (also of Fawema machines), spare parts supply, remote maintenance as well as checkweighers from Sweden's Teltek as its Germany partner.

Kraft paper (uncoated)

Quality and control technology
The machines fill with gram accuracy and multiple weight checks via load cells, light barriers and sensors; integrated metal detectors and, on request, X-ray devices detect contamination. Peripheral devices such as Teltek checkweighers can be verified before delivery (MID 2014/32/EU).
