About UMA Robotics
UMA ROBOTIC TECHNOLOGY is a private company founded in 2019 with its headquarters in Berlin and a further site in Haridwar, India. The company, with eight full-time employees, develops and manufactures automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for logistics and material flow, which can be used both indoors and outdoors and on different terrain. The robots transport heavy boxes and containers of various sizes from conveyor belts and shelves up to a shelf height of 200 cm, among other things from the warehouse to the assembly line (warehouse-to-line). The systems offer autonomous navigation in cluttered environments, remote control, person-following modes as well as IoT integration and can be quickly integrated into existing facilities with minimal changes to the existing infrastructure. In addition, the company covers the last-mile delivery sector. Target industries include industrial logistics as well as mining, construction, agriculture, and automotive and electronics manufacturing. Customers and partners include IIT Roorkee, TEXMiN (TTRP), STPI and RMK College of Engineering.
