About Unicorn GmbH
Unicorn GmbH (Tailormade Processing) manufactures standard and special components for plant and piping construction, including turned parts, flanges, valves and pipe connection parts made of materials of every kind, in particular steel. The range of services includes turning, milling, sawing, waterjet cutting, erosion machining as well as cylindrical and surface grinding; two-dimensional sheet metal processing is also realized via CAM programs. The company machines and saws pipes, bars and fittings and, thanks to an extensive machine park, handles large and heavy production orders in dimensions larger than 32 inches (DN800) with component weights up to 16 tonnes. A raw material warehouse with more than 200 tonnes ensures short response times. The performance chain covers design and calculation, engineering and drawing, manufacturing, internal quality assurance as well as acceptance or Third Party Inspection – with a single point of contact for all matters. Production has taken place at the Krefeld site since the end of 2020; the registered office is located in Meerbusch.
