UNIFLEX-Hydraulik GmbH, headquartered in Karben near Frankfurt am Main, develops, manufactures and sells machines for the production of hose lines. The portfolio includes workshop and production presses, special-purpose machines, calibration presses as well as peripheral devices such as cutting machines, peeling machines, perforation devices, cleaning equipment, insertion devices, test benches, marking and bending machines and extraction systems. The machines are assembled in classic manufactory fashion by hand and largely to order; a modular design enables customer-specific variants and custom-made solutions. The technological core is the company's own plain bearing technology, which reduces press force loss and energy consumption by up to 20 percent. Customers are hose line assemblers and users from the hydraulics and automotive industries as well as the processing of insulators, cables and ropes, in over 20,000 customer companies worldwide. The company employs around 140 staff and operates eight branches, including in Singapore, Shanghai, Tokyo, Montevideo, Schaumburg (USA) and Gurgaon (India).
