Development and manufacture of minimal lubrication systems and biodegradable high-performance lubricants for quasi-dry machining

Unilube AG
8572 Berg TG (Switzerland)New on Amplifa
Pioneer of residue-free micro lubrication since 1989
Unilube AG is an owner-managed Swiss family business founded in 1989 in Kreuzlingen, specializing in minimum quantity lubrication for quasi-dry machining. The company develops and manufactures MinimalLubricationSystems (OEM minimum quantity lubrication and metering technology) such as ECOLUBE, POPLUBE, JETLUBE, PULSLUBE and TAPLUBE including nozzle arms (FLEXLINE, Inox, LocLine) as well as ring nozzles for external, tool-internal and through-coolant lubrication. In addition, Unilube produces high-performance lubricants in its own reactor plant using GB technology, glycerin-based from renewable raw materials, readily biodegradable and residue-free. The systems are manufactured in the company's own production and assembly at the Berg TG site and supplied globally to OEM customers; customers and partners include MABI Robotic, TORNOS and MIKRON TOOL as well as the research partner Rhysearch. The technology replaces conventional flood cooling with/without emulsions and is used in metal, plastics and woodworking as well as in industries such as automotive, medical technology, optics, watchmaking and aerospace.

Lubricants and materials expertise
UNILUBE 2032
Universal, biodegradable high-performance lubricant based on natural components for metals and difficult-to-machine materials such as steel alloys and titanium compounds.
UNILUBE 9107
Synthetic, stain-free and residue-free lubricant of pharmaceutical purity, originally for aluminium processors, with customer approvals from medical technology.
GB technology (glycerin-based)
Glycerin-based overall concept comprising filtration, lubrication, cooling and cleaning, made from natural and renewable raw materials with a cradle-to-cradle approach.
Unilube PROLUBE
Lubricant according to GB technology from the company's own product range.
Material 1.4104
Free-cutting screw-machine steel machined in the application test on the lathe at TORNOS.
