Metal processing from a single source

unimec fabrikations ag, based in Wetzikon (ZH), manufactures complex components and assemblies for industrial needs – from individual parts to series production. The core competence lies in integrated manufacturing under one roof: CNC turning and milling, laser cutting and bending of sheet metal, certified welding of steel, stainless steel and aluminium (including welding robots and multi-layer welding to EN 15085-2 CL1), mechanical finishing of welded constructions, assembly of assemblies (screwing, riveting, bonding, pressing) as well as wet painting in an own painting plant with curing oven for parts up to 12 m in length. Customers include leading plant engineers, rail vehicle manufacturers and rail operators, companies in the aerospace and nuclear industries as well as municipalities and metal construction companies. Around 65 employees process steel, stainless steel and aluminium and deliver ready-to-install assemblies worldwide.
