About UP-Labels
UP-Labels GmbH, based in Vienna, develops and produces durable technical markings for surfaces exposed to chemical and mechanical stress. The core product is the LTA tire_dot, an ultra-thin, solvent-free heat transfer for fully automatic application onto finished, vulcanized tires. In addition, the Heat Transfer Film (HTF) is offered, and since 2025 also the colored Micro-Decal line UP-Tireworks. Via a Sampling Service, adhesion testing, marking trials and durability tests are carried out on customer-specific tire sidewall samples. All R&D, development and production areas are located at the Vienna site; more than 50 % of the team works in research and development. Customers are tire manufacturers (OEM and aftermarket) as well as mechanical engineering companies for tire measuring and marking systems. The products are delivered to countries on four continents.

UP-Labels GmbH is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. In its own R&D laboratory and Sampling Service, the adhesion strength and durability of the markings are tested on customer-specific tire sidewall samples.

History
- 2015
Founded in Vienna (23rd district) by Thomas Prorok and Dr. Gerald Ullrich; focus on long-lasting technical markings on tire sidewalls.
- 2016
Relocation to the first production hall in Vienna; start of series production of the LTA tire_dots.
- 2017–2024
Four product generations with improved adhesion, lower temperature/pressure requirements and longer shelf life; OEM and aftermarket lines.
- 2025
Expansion into colored micro-decals (UP-Tireworks), shown for the first time at the TireTech Expo 2025.
