About UpCandle
UpCandle is a candle manufactory founded in 2018 in Berlin that produces hand-poured scented candles, refill candles and natural room and pillow sprays. The candles are crafted by hand on the basis of regional rapeseed wax made from certified, GMO-free rapeseed oil with a small proportion of coconut wax; wood and cotton wicks are used. The fragrance compositions rely exclusively on pure natural essential oils, including Märkisch pine oil from the Berlin surrounding region and rosemary oil from Italian cultivation. The products are filled into French amber glass jars with handcrafted beechwood lids and are reusable via a refill system; room sprays are mixed by hand and bottled in 50-ml glass flacons. The manufactory, with a central production table, produces, packs and ships at the Berlin location; the range is organized according to the aromatherapy areas Relax, Happiness, Energy and Focus.

Rapeseed wax
Regional, biodegradable plant wax made from certified, GMO-free rapeseed oil as the basis of all candles.
Coconut wax
Supplements the rapeseed wax in a small proportion and gives the wax its supple texture.
Pure natural essential oils
100 % plant-based essences such as palo santo, lavender, cardamom, rosemary or Märkisch pine oil without synthetic fragrances.
Beechwood
Used for the handcrafted lids of the amber glass jars.
French amber glass
Light-shielding, endlessly refillable candle jar.
