About Urban Armaturen

Urban, Rohrleitungs-, Apparate- und Maschinenbau GmbH is a family-owned specialist company founded in 1979, based in Rheinau-Rheinbischofsheim. The company manufactures steel-welded pipe connections, dismantling joints up to DN 1200, pipe fittings, tees, reducers, pipe bends, wye pieces, packing expansion pieces and complete shaft pipework for the drinking water and wastewater sector. Its value chain includes flame cutting, sawing, bending, rolling, edging, machining, steel welded constructions, sandblasting rust removal and corrosion protection including coating, galvanizing, hard chrome plating and hard rubber lining. Materials processed are structural steels to DIN 17100, boiler steels to DIN 17155/17175 and stainless steels to DIN 17440; sealing is done with KTW-approved EPDM seals or Viton O-ring seals. Customers include valve manufacturers, municipalities, municipal utilities as well as drinking water and wastewater associations. Dismantling joints in standard version up to DN 1200 are kept in stock; special lengths, special connections and custom parts are manufactured to customer requirements.
