About URBANODE

URBANODE develops the R2I protocol (Robot-to-Infrastructure), an open communication and trust layer between autonomous agents – delivery robots, humanoids, drones, vehicles, machines and authorized persons – and physical infrastructure such as doors, barriers, cranes, elevators, charging points or loading bays. The company is a pure software provider without proprietary hardware: existing infrastructure is upgraded to a certified node via firmware update. Core elements are the Five-Check Handshake with mutual cryptographic authentication (mTLS 1.3, ECDSA P-256), presence verification, scoped mission, fast revocation and the node as final instance, complemented by post-quantum-resistant evidence, offline operation and protection against manipulated agents. The Signed Energy-Session-Settlement for billable settlement of charging sessions is validated in production. Areas of application include ports, autonomous fleets, construction sites, airports, factories, data centers, large-scale events, gas stations, mining, maritime applications, insurance and smart cities; a catalog of 39 documented verticals is available. URBANODE was founded in 2026 and maintains locations in Villajoyosa (Spain), Weikersheim (Germany) and Ruse (Bulgaria).
