URBAS Energietechnik und Stahlbau is an Austrian company for energy technology and structural steelwork founded in 1929, headquartered at the Eis Ruden plant in Carinthia. The company realizes biomass heating plants and combined heat and power plants for the generation of hot water, high-temperature hot water, process steam and electricity, as well as steel structures for buildings, industrial facilities, bridges and infrastructure. Its range of services covers planning, manufacturing with a high level of in-house production depth, installation and around-the-clock service. Systems are manufactured in its own plant with unit weights of up to 150 tonnes; the SCC-certified installation department with more than 100 employees erects the systems worldwide, supported by the company's own transport combinations for special and heavy-load transports as well as cranes and platforms. Customers include, among others, KELAG Energie & Wärme, EVN Wärme, Bioenergie Steyr, THEURL and the Holzindustrie Losheim.
