Urbschat Tools GmbH is a manufacturer of solid carbide (VHM) precision tools founded in 1986 and based in Ennepetal (North Rhine-Westphalia). The company specialises in VHM reamers in 1/100 and 1/1000 increments (micro reamers from 0,10 mm, standard programme up to 13.5 mm or, according to the product overview, up to 20.00 mm), VHM single-flute and multi-flute milling cutters, engraving tools, deburring tools and special tools made to customer sketches. Production is carried out using CNC grinding technology; optionally the tools are supplied with TiN, TiAlN, Futura or Helica coating to increase tool life and wear resistance. Standard products are stocked in large quantities, including intermediate diameters and special tolerances; orders placed by 11:00 a.m. are usually shipped the same day. Reamers are also available with internal coolant supply. The tools are used mainly in the automotive industry, aerospace and mechanical engineering; among other things, Urbschat Tools supports the Formula Student team Elbflorace of TU Dresden with reamers and special tools.
