About Urmet Deutschland

Urmet Deutschland GmbH, based in Hennef (Sieg), is a provider of intercom systems, video surveillance, alarm systems and building technology. The company originated from the Grothe brand, which, since the merger, has together with Urmet stood for communication and security technology. The product range includes modular door stations (including ALPHA, MIKRA 2, ELEKTA, ROBUSTA, SINTHESI S2), apartment intercom stations, intercom system sets for single- to multi-family homes, and wireless and wired alarm systems with detectors, sirens and control panels. The systems range from the classic 1+n/4+n system via the 2-wire bus system 2Voice to the serverless IP system IPercom; wireless alarm systems are connected to the Protego24 alarm receiving center. Products are manufactured, among other things, from aluminum die casting, aluminum, ZAMAK die-casting alloy, stainless steel (V4A), brass and plastics such as ABS. The offering is complemented by technical field service from planning to commissioning, as well as customer service and training. Deliveries are made within Germany.
