About us

Urs Walther AG is an electrical installation company based in Zollikofen in the canton of Bern. The family business, founded in 1928 as Elektrofirma E. Walther in Kirchlindach, implements high- and low-voltage installations, electrical planning, telematics and telephone systems, IT networks with copper and fibre-optic cabling, as well as building automation based on KNX and Digitalstrom. Its offering includes consulting, planning, execution, service and fault clearance, complemented by a 24-hour on-call service. Around 30 employees serve private households, SMEs, industrial buildings and public buildings; the customer base includes, among others, Ramseier AG, Emmi Schweiz AG and the Zollikofen retirement and care centre. Work is carried out under the supervision of technical managers, and the company trains apprentices every year.
