USNER G.m.b.H. was founded in 1949 and is a third-generation family business headquartered in Hallein near Salzburg. Originally focused on the chemical needs of the foundry industry, the company produces binders based on furan, phenol and alkyd resins under the Rustol® brand, along with corresponding hardeners, Sand Coating Resins and graphite products. Today the portfolio also includes chemical-technical consulting and trading of thermoset materials, liquid silicone rubber (LSR), epoxy and polyester systems, adhesives, specialty additives such as graphene, and reinforcement materials for the polymer industry. For the Central European market, products are sourced from all over the world and delivered to customers in twelve countries. The industries served range from foundry and automotive to aerospace, electronics and 3D printing.
