About Utz Paletten
Utz Paletten GmbH & Co. KG is a family-run pallet manufacturing company founded in 1970 and based in Lauchheim (Baden-Württemberg). The company produces Euro pallets (EPAL 1 and EPAL 3), single-use, glass, round and container pallets as well as chemical pallets (CP1, CP3) and accessories such as top frames, lids and wire mesh containers. The pallets are made of wood with pressed-wood blocks and are subsequently heat-treated in the company's own drying systems (IPPC/ISPM No. 15: 56 °C for at least 30 minutes), so that chemical treatment can be dispensed with. The company is a member of the European Pallet Association e.V. (EPAL) and the Bundesverband Holzpackmittel, Paletten, Exportverpackung e.V. (HPE); the products are regularly inspected by Bureau Veritas. Main customer groups are the pharmaceutical, food and packaging industries; the company also buys pallets and sells them to private customers. Delivery is made with the company's own fleet in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
