About UV Medico

UV Medico A/S is a Danish manufacturer of filtered 222-nm Far-UVC systems (UV222) for the continuous inactivation of microorganisms in air and on surfaces in rooms with people present. The portfolio includes decontamination booths for fully equipped personnel (UV222 Booth), material transfer airlocks (Material Airlock), pass-through boxes with HEPA filtration (Pass-Through Box), sole disinfection systems (Step-On), ceiling, wall and industrial luminaires of the UV222 series, and the ambulance solution UV222 Ambulance. The systems are based on krypton-chloride excimer lamps with an optical bandpass filter that suppresses unwanted side emissions; housings are made of medical-grade stainless steel 304L or 316L. The products are used in GMP cleanrooms in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, in healthcare, in emergency vehicles, in food production and for Indoor Air Quality. Development and manufacturing take place in Denmark under an integrated management system certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 13485. In addition to FAT/SAT protocols and validation, the company offers customization, IoT monitoring and installation by authorized installers; in 2024, UV222 systems were installed in 56 Falck ambulances in the Region Zealand.
