About UWT
Since 1977, UWT GmbH has been developing and producing sensors and technologies for level measurement in bulk solids and liquids for industrial applications worldwide. The portfolio includes rotating paddle switches (Rotonivo®), vibrating sensors (Vibranivo®), capacitive sensors for point and level measurement (Capanivo®, RFnivo®, NivoCapa®), non-contact 80-GHz radar sensors (NivoRadar®), guided radar sensors (NivoGuide®), electromechanical plumb bob systems (NivoBob®) as well as level monitoring and visualization systems (NivoTec®, NivoLED®). The devices are designed for demanding process conditions, including high temperatures up to +1100 °C, pressures up to 400 bar, dust, adhesions and hygienic CIP/SIP processes, and are also available in Ex versions with international approvals for hazardous areas. Manufacturing takes place at the headquarters in Betzigau in the Allgäu region according to the "made in Germany" principle, complemented by special configurations for customer-specific applications. With around 200 employees, ten of its own locations and sales partners in over 90 countries, UWT supplies industries such as chemicals, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, plastics, building materials, environmental technology as well as wood and metal processing.
