The manufactory for Mustang and Corvette
The V8 WERK in Pirna near Dresden is a specialised manufactory for the restoration and servicing of first-generation classic Ford Mustangs (1964–1969), in particular the special models Shelby GT 350 (Hertz), Shelby GT 500, BOSS 302 and BOSS 429, as well as the Chevrolet Corvette C1 and C2 (1954–1967). The workshop, covering more than 700 m² with ten vehicle lifts, includes separate areas for high-quality upholstery work and for bodywork in sheet metal and GRP. The range of services extends from faithful body-off / frame-off restoration through restomod builds with individual modifications to maintenance, repair, TÜV conversion of US imports (§21) and the remanufacturing of no-longer-available spare parts. Over more than a decade, more than 70 restoration projects have been completed. The premises are also home to the BILDWERK photo studio with 360° and Hydro Stage as well as the NORDSPITZE event venue for up to 120 guests.
