About Valenz

Valenz is a marketing, sales and logistics company specializing in methanol, headquartered in Wollerau, Switzerland. The company was founded in 2018 as Helm Proman Methanol, a joint venture between HELM AG, Proman AG and Southern Chemical Corporation, and was renamed Valenz in 2023. Its service portfolio includes the marketing and sale of methanol, complete supply chain handling across all relevant modes of transport – ocean-going vessels, coasters, barges, rail tank cars, trucks and pipelines – as well as storage via a tank network in all major markets. In addition, Valenz publishes its own price index, the Valenz North American Monthly Posted Price (MPP). With three regional hubs in Europe, Asia and the Americas, more than 140 shipments per year are handled and over 50 ports served; around 25% of the volume is shipped on low-emission, methanol-powered vessels. The company is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and holds ISCC EU and ISCC PLUS certifications.
