About Valk Welding
Founded in 1961, Valk Welding is a family-owned company headquartered in Alblasserdam (Netherlands), specializing in the automation of arc welding. The company supplies all-in-one welding robot systems for MIG/MAG welding, develops its own sensor technology such as Quick Touch Sensing and the ARC-EYE laser camera for seam tracking, as well as the DTPS offline programming software and Automatic Robot Programming (ARP). Through the Robot Welding As A Service (RWAAS) concept, complete robot systems are offered without any upfront investment starting from €3,750 per month. In addition, the Welding Wire Service Centre operates a welding wire logistics business handling around 800 tonnes of wire per month – solid wires for MIG, TIG and SAW in steel, stainless steel, high-strength steel, aluminium and nickel alloys, certified and CE-marked. Around 200 welding robot installations are delivered annually, primarily to the metalworking industry, agricultural machinery manufacturing, transformer and vehicle construction, and medical technology. More than 200 employees at branches in ten European countries provide service, training and worldwide logistics.
