About VALLON
VALLON GmbH, based in Eningen unter Achalm, has been developing and manufacturing detector systems for explosive ordnance clearance and demagnetization systems for industrial applications since 1965. In the detection field, the portfolio includes metal detectors, dual-sensor detectors, UXO detectors, magnetometers and multichannel systems including field computers as well as the EVA4ALL and EVA4mobile software for data acquisition and evaluation. In the demagnetization field, the company manufactures coils, yokes and LF generators with working apertures from 30 mm to 2,000 x 3,000 mm, for processes such as pulse and through-feed demagnetization. The EM-type coils are made of cast aluminium, the VEM-type modular system of stainless steel. Customers include humanitarian organizations, armed forces and clearance services as well as industrial companies from the automotive, steel, medical and aerospace industries. The headquarters in Eningen offers a training center and test fields with various soil conditions and UXO test areas; sales are conducted worldwide.

Materials and Processes
Iron
Ferromagnetic material whose Weiss domains are neutralized by the VALLON demagnetization processes.
Steel
Central application material for demagnetization, e.g. in machining production and the steel industry.
Carbide
Demagnetized by means of pulse demagnetization under the most demanding requirements.
Tool steel
Used in quality-critical demagnetization applications, especially in pulse demagnetization.
Cast aluminium
Construction material of the robust EM-type coils with a 50-mm grid dimension.
Stainless steel
Material of the flexible modular system of the VEM-type coils with individually adaptable dimensions.
