Vansformers GmbH from Melle is a motorhome manufacturer and body manufacturer for Volkswagen, MAN and Mercedes Benz. The team of engineers, designers and craftsmen with experience in automotive and furniture construction transforms vans into extreme long-distance motorhomes and offroad campers. The value chain ranges from consulting, concept visualization, CAD engineering and prototype construction to manufacturing in the company's own workshop and joinery – as one-off production, unique pieces or production-ready motorhome concepts (V.01 to V.03). The interior fittings use high-quality materials and wood-based materials; the technical equipment includes lithium batteries, solar systems, fuel cells, gas systems as well as diesel auxiliary heaters and water-based heating systems for winter-capable vehicles. A well-known project is the NEXSD One, a spaceframe box van with an aluminium body, which Vansformers developed together with NEXSD Automotive Innovation and presented at the Caravan Salon 2022 in Düsseldorf. All vehicles undergo strict inspections and certified acceptance procedures. In addition to new vehicle outfitting, the company also carries out conversions of used vehicles and retrofit installations such as pop-up roofs.
