Velobyrd by WM trading GmbH

About Velobyrd

Velobyrd is the development brand of WM trading GmbH, based in Winnenden (Baden-Württemberg). The company develops bicycles and e-bikes from the initial concept through design and prototype construction to production support in the OEM environment. Its range of services covers concept and product development, project management, quality management including quality control and production testing in Asia, strategic sourcing, import and logistics, as well as production audits at suppliers in China and Taiwan. Before founding Velobyrd, the team members worked in the bicycle industry for many years and bring market, production and technical knowledge from that environment. Customers are bicycle and e-bike manufacturers such as Gudereit and Velotraum; international collaboration takes place in German and English, including regular meetings with OEM partners and suppliers in Asia as well as appearances at trade fairs such as Eurobike in Frankfurt. The company does not manufacture itself, but supports series production at manufacturers in Asia through to market launch.
