About VELOSIT
VELOSIT is an owner-managed, innovation-driven company for technically sophisticated building systems based at Industriepark Lippe in Dortmund. The company's mission is to accelerate and simplify construction processes. Based on a novel proprietary binder technology, cement-based mortars, waterproofing membranes and self-levelling levelling compounds are manufactured that are easy to apply, offer good working time and at the same time achieve very rapid strength development. The virtually shrinkage-free mortars are resistant to water and many chemicals and exhibit excellent mechanical properties. For coating and waterproofing applications, VELOSIT relies on its own polyurea systems. A platform technology allows new product variants with a reliable property profile to be formulated quickly. The product portfolio includes flooring systems, products for concrete and structural repair, structural waterproofing, and tile and natural stone systems. Production has been running in the company's own plant at Industriepark Lippe since January 2015; reference projects exist, among others, in Denmark.
