VEM Handels GmbH was founded in 2019 by Klaus Hendrichs and Patrick Iwersen in Krefeld and specializes in the trading of chemical and industrial products as well as secondary raw materials. The focus is on products for the cement industry, pigment industry, agricultural industry and water treatment, including iron(II) sulfate (green vitriol) in various granulate and powder qualities. In addition to trading, the company offers transport, warehousing and handling logistics, drawing on an international partner network, including a logistics partner at the port of Antwerp for direct handling, storage and silo storage of big bags. On its own premises in Krefeld, two warehouse halls with a total of 750 m² of floor space are available for moisture-protected storage of 25-kg sacks up to 1250-kg big bags. Transports are carried out with tautliner, tipper, walking floor and silo trucks as well as by barge or container loading.
