About Vepochemie AG
Vepochemie AG is a Swiss family business in its second generation, based in Stallikon ZH. Under the vepo® brand, the company has been developing and producing cleaning and care products since 1958, including drain cleaners (rohrvit®), descalers (vepocalc®), glass ceramic and metal cleaners (Krust-ex®, vepostahl®), bath, toilet, floor and furniture care products as well as disinfectants. The formulations are developed in the company's own technical laboratory; production takes place in heated mixing tanks and stirred vessels, followed by filling, capping, tube sealing and labelling on specially constructed or specialised machines. Raw materials used include natural acids such as citric and lactic acid (partly food-grade), methanesulfonic acid, phosphoric acid, strong alkalis, surfactants from plant oil and natural polishing agents such as stone flour. The products are readily biodegradable and are optimised according to Ecolabel guidelines; every product is newly manufactured every three months. The products are distributed via Swiss drugstores, pharmacies, pharmaceutical wholesalers and the company's own online shop, with delivery to Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.
