About Verbatim

Verbatim is a provider of data storage and accessory solutions with its European headquarters in Eschborn, Germany. The company was founded in 1969 as Information Terminals Corp. (ITC) and initially made a name for itself as a pioneer in floppy disks and optical media. Today, the portfolio includes data storage solutions such as external hard drives and SSDs, USB drives, memory cards, computer and mobile accessories, cables, power supplies and GaN-based charging products, as well as headphones and gaming accessories of the SureFire brand. Verbatim develops and distributes these products and works with technology partners to do so; according to the sources, there is no in-house manufacturing at the Eschborn site. Since 2020, Verbatim has belonged to CMC Magnetics; in 2024, a new branding with the slogan "Anywhere. Everyday." was introduced. Distribution activities extend across Europe, the Americas, Asia-Pacific as well as the Middle East, Africa and India.
