About Verder Liquids
Verder Liquids is the industrial division of the Dutch Verder Group, founded in 1959 by André Verder and employing more than 2,500 staff as a family-owned company. In Germany the organization operates as Verder-Koch GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Haan, originating from the Koch Pumpentechnik founded in 1980 and acquired by the Verder Group in 2019. Manufactured products include positive displacement pumps and centrifugal pumps of various technologies: hose pumps (Verderflex, Ponndorf), air-operated and electric double diaphragm pumps (Verderair), hygienic stainless steel centrifugal pumps, rotary lobe, twin screw and screw centrifugal pumps (Packo), dosing pumps (Microdos, ITC) as well as static and dynamic mixers. Production takes place at six sites in the UK, Belgium, Poland, Italy, Spain and Korea; Packo electropolishes all product-contact stainless steel surfaces in-house. Distribution for Germany, including consulting, engineering/sizing, commissioning, maintenance, repair and training, is handled from Haan, complemented by a 10,000 m² European logistics centre in Groningen with next-day shipping. Customers come from industries such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, battery production, oil and gas, water treatment, mining and OEM.

All Verder production plants operate according to ISO 9001. The UK Verderflex plant is additionally certified to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001; the quality management system in Haan covers development, manufacturing, sales and service of positive displacement pumps.

History

Founding of the Verder Group by André Verder as a trading company for innovative products in the Netherlands.

Packo starts production of milk pumps.

Founding of Koch Pumpentechnik Vertriebs GmbH & Co. KG, specialized in the distribution of Packo hygienic pumps in Germany.
