About VUT Kirchner
Verfahrens- & Umwelttechnik Kirchner (VUT Kirchner) is an engineering consultancy for process safety, process simulation and environmental engineering consulting, founded in 1990 by Dr.-Ing. Robert Kirchner in Erlangen and today based in Eisenach, Thuringia. The company develops safety concepts and risk analyses based on the HAZOP and LOPA methods, performs process simulations with CHEMCAD and offers incident/accident analyses, expert opinions, risk ratings for insurers as well as authority engineering. Another focus lies in exhaust air and solvent management, including solvent balances according to 31. BImSchV, absorption and distillation optimization as well as energy-saving concepts. Customers come from the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, specialty chemicals, the paint and coatings industry, the building materials and printing ink industries as well as from aluminium and silicon production. In addition to consulting, VUT Kirchner offers seminars, in-house training and interim management and cooperates interdisciplinarily with psychologists, business economists and computer scientists.
